ANDREAS SAAG
Andreas Saag is a composer, artist, DJ, remixer and producer. His genre is a hybrid between electronic music, folk music, cinematic sounds and jazz. It’s often the blends of musical genres and elements that creates his unique style.
Currently he's mixing techno, folk music, cinematic sounds and 90's electronica vibes in his new artist project Saagan. These influences can also be heard whenever Andreas composes for games, films or TV series.
Throughout his musical career he's been inspired by the mellow harmonies of Swedish jazz and the pulse of house, techno, soul and disco. His most noteworthy collaborations as an artist include, Ennio Morricone, Mark Ronson, Laurent Garnier and Mr Scruff.
Andreas played the piano since the age of six and is a trained musician and composer. He often invites live musicians and singers into his studio, exciting musical meetings is a big part of his method of composing.
In the past five years he's also started working more commercially, composing for games, film, adverts and other media. Most noteworthy Andreas composed the music and OST for the video game Kosmokrats narrated by Bill Nighy and music for several adverts for Arla, Telekom and Telia.
Andreas is the co-founder and lead of the experimental art gathering The Glade where Nordic folk musicians, electronic artists, opera singers, actors and DJ's come together to create a secret folklore rave deep in the Swedish forest.
